Mr. Butt Managing Director is a qualified engineer with a passion for dog training. A member of the German Shepherd Club of Germany. He learnt dog training in Germany. That is when he realised the potential of providing well trained dogs in India. He started Commando Kennels in 1985 as a small dog training and breeding unit. Soon the quality of training in Commando trained dogs, created an immense demand for our services. In 1989. Commando Kennels (P) Ltd was registered as a private limited company - it was the first such company in the doggy world. This led to many such firsts. Our list of achievements is pro of enough of what commandos have achieved in a short duration of 20 years. In 1995, we shifted to our fully equipped training farm at the outskirts of Secunderabad. Ever since, the company has seen growth in various fields, ranging from dog security service to formation of HADI.

Philip .A. Butt is trained in "Arms explosive search dog training and Methods" at the United Kingdom training centre of Corporate Search Limited, Nottingham, UK. Alongwith Mr.M.P.Butt, he has pioneered many new dog sports and training techniques in India. A look at our achievemnt will give an insight into the skills of this father son duo.
Mr.Philip also learnt techniques in positive reinforcement training at the Waltham Centre for Pet Nutrition. UK Mr Philip is a regular writer for reputed canine magazines like “Dogs & Pups”. and “Petlife”.
As Joint Secretary of the Hyderabad Canine Club, he is a astute dog show organiser. The commando Kennels team organised the ‘Pedigree KIDS & DOGS Carnival’. Mr.Philip has been activel involved in organiseing many HyCan shows and also the first ever- Dog sports show by HyCan in October 2008.
